Inspection and Testing
Whizz Sparks can carry out electrical inspection and testing. This is essential in order to ensure that your working or living environment is electrically safe from potential hazards. We will ensure that employees and residents are safe from these, and that we meet all health and safety regulations. Call a Whizz Sparks electrician today to ensure that your building is safe.
All businesses must carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) to ensure that that pass business health and safety standards. PAT testing is carried out annually to ensure that electrical equipment is safe to use. One of our qualified electricians will be happy to provide this service, so that your company meets British Health and Safety regulations.
Fixed Wired Testing
Electrical installations can become damaged over time, this is why it is necessary to get fixed wiring tested to help ensure that all wiring is safe throughout your facility. All our electricians are fully qualified to carry out fixed wired testing. We follow IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2008) and our electricians are City & Guilds qualified.
Landlords must ensure that their property is safe for all tenants, by receiving a ‘Periodic Inspection Report for an Electrical Installation’. This must be carried out every five years. Our certified electricians are able to examine your property and come to a conclusion as to whether the electrical wiring meets health and safety regulations. The report that is issued will be able to prove that all electrical installations of the property are safe.
We also carry out PAT testing for all portable appliances that landlords provide their tenants with. It is advised that PAT testing is to be completed yearly to ensure all electrical devises are safe for use.
